VIVO STAND-FT01 Footrest: Check the 5-Inch Minimum
The VIVO STAND-FT01 footrest is a candidate when your desk setup needs a higher framed support. Its published range starts at 5 inches, so checking the minimum matters as much as checking the maximum.
Check the minimum before the maximum
Foot support only: do not stand on it or treat the 55lb rating as a step-stool rating.

Which VIVO STAND-FT01 Footrest Is This?
This guide covers the black STAND-FT01, verified under Amazon ASIN B0763RMV58. Match both identifiers before ordering. Other colors and related VIVO footrests may use different model codes.
Height and Floor Space

| Check | Published specification |
|---|---|
| Height range | 5–10.25 inches, approximately 12.7–26cm |
| Floor footprint | 15.7 × 14.4 inches, approximately 40 × 36.6cm |
| Frame | Steel, with floor padding |
| Rated load | 55lb, approximately 25kg; foot support only |
VIVO lists the platform at 15.7 × 10.125 inches; Amazon’s bullets specify 15.7 × 9.8 inches. The roughly 0.8cm depth difference remains unresolved. These are published dimensions, not our measurements. If your footwear needs an exact fit, confirm the usable surface with VIVO before purchase.
Mark the floor footprint with removable tape. Roll your chair into its normal working position and check casters, desk legs, drawers, and cable trays. The platform needs room where your feet naturally land.
When the 5-Inch Minimum Is Too High
Establish your chair and typing position first using our footrest setup guide. Check the gap under your feet without sliding forward on the seat or reaching for the keyboard.
If you need less than 5 inches of support, this model’s minimum is a reason to choose another option. Raising your feet too far can crowd your knees under the desktop. A footrest also cannot shorten an unsuitable chair seat.
For different starting heights and surface preferences, compare our foam and adjustable footrest guide and Fellowes Breyta fit guide.
How the Adjustment Works
The current VIVO manual uses pins rather than a continuous height control. Assemble the frame as directed, point the footrest upward, insert its pins at the desired position, and lower the platform to secure it. Follow the supplied instructions for your unit.
This suits a setup where you select a height and check it before use. If frequent changes without repositioning the platform are essential, compare the adjustment method before buying. The textured top and floor padding are design features, not a guarantee against slipping on every surface.
Use It as Foot Support
The manual explicitly says not to stand on the platform. The 55lb rating is not permission to use it as a step stool or seat. While standing, the documented use supports one foot with the other remaining on a flat floor.
Keep room to change position and step away from the desk. Clear loose wires with our under-desk cable guide.
